In our Keynote Ben Whitnall, Head of Media at the Bible Society, will be exploring the role social media played in the ‘Arab Spring.’ Is Malcolm Gladwell right, the revolution won’t be tweeted? And should Christians use social media to motivate people for political campaigning?
Ben is responsible for developing Bible Society’s media strategy and output, working to offer people ‘surprisingly good’ encounters with the Bible. Before joining Bible Society he worked for five years at a digital media agency consulting on projects for clients including the White House and DECC.
Holy Augmented Reality Batman! Matt Valler, Communications Manager (Youth & Emgen) at Tearfund, will be asking ‘Can we incorporate a sacramental life into an experience of reality that is going to increasingly become altered or enhanced by technology?
